Ontario Angling License Information:

For the latest updated information on angling licenses in Ontario, click here.

While fishing in Ontario, you must carry a valid Outdoors Card and License Summary listing your valid fishing licence (unless your licence is printed on the back of your Outdoors Card).

You must buy an Outdoors Card before you can buy a fishing license. However, you can buy a one-day sport fishing licence without an Outdoors Card.

Purchasing options:

  • Buy online
  • Visit a participating license issuer
  • Pay by phone (call 1-800-288-1155 to renew an Outdoors Card and three year license)
